Belleville Town Council Meeting – Jan 12, 2016

“I don’t know what to say, except at this time, I hate being a politician.”   – Mayor Raymond Kimble

What a truly sad day for Belleville.

There’s so much going on here, I don’t yet have the time to sit down and provide an overview of exactly what’s happening.

For now, just watch the meeting. Pay very careful attention to the two votes in the beginning, and who is saying what. Then, be sure to watch the video completely to the end. As if the beginning of the meeting wasn’t enough of the disgrace, watch the voting action at the end very closely.

I’ll circle back to this article after work late tonight or tomorrow to explain what’s transpiring for those who don’t understand the shenanigans going on here.

EDIT: Local news coverage is already published and provided below. I recommend reading those articles first before you watch the meeting video, and it will make things much more clear.

Update: I’m glad to see that the local news coverage for this was published super quickly. It’s easily one of the most important issues Belleville is facing.
