Here is video coverage of the September 26, 2017 public meeting of the Belleville Council.
If the Council seems unusually polite or respectful toward residents, it’s probably because we invited a very special guest for the evening. Investigative reporter Walt Kane from News 12 NJ’s “Kane In Your Corner” arrived at the beginning of the meeting. His cameraman was filming the Council the entire time.
After a 5-month fiasco of unanswered questions and denials, the pressure from citizens finally became too intense. Now with a News 12 camera trained on their faces, the Council immediately removes Councilman Joe Longo from office.
