It’s that time of the month again, everyone. Time to wade back into the frontline trenches of the battlefield for a couple of hours. Time once again to exchange volley fire with Team Spending Spree, who set the Belleville school district on the fast track to careening off a financial cliff.
In the smokey morning-after haze of a midterm election period, let’s not forget who was actually responsible for what here. Now that we have two good people heading toward their seats as trustees on the board, we still have others to put before the community’s firing squad for their treason against the township, and these children.
Okay okay, enough with the silly war analogies.
We’re expecting to hear some news on a variety of topics, including whether Clarity has been given a final heave-ho from the school district, and possibly some updated news on the budget deficit situation. We hope to hear an update on the search for a new superintendent as well.
Since no agenda has been published yet in advance of the meeting (shocker), we’ll have to wait and see what else is on the table for discussion. I do know that between this meeting and the December one, there should be some vital information given out to the community.
