Here is the video from tonight’s Special Meeting of the Belleville Board of Education at the high school.
The purpose of the meeting was to address the separation agreement with the outgoing Superintendent Helene Feldman, the appointing of an interim super, and the hiring of a vendor who will conduct the search for the next superintendent.

By the way, we understand that the terms of Mrs. Feldman’s agreement allowed for a payout in the neighborhood of $94,000, which was in the ballpark of what we were expecting.
Not ideal, but hey, at least she’s gone for good.
For those who are just joining us, under Mrs. Feldman’s tenure, the Belleville Board of Education spent the school district into a 4.8 million dollar deficit in the course of just one school year.
Mind you, that’s after completely exhausting a budget of over 63 million dollars, well before the school year ended.
We certainly appreciate the smoking crater she left behind, as we continue to unravel further financial atrocities visited upon the taxpaying residents of Belleville by the school administration.
