Fresh out of the jar sitting on my desk labelled “Things That Totally Don’t Surprise Me”, the next Belleville Board of Education Meeting that was scheduled for next Monday, April 28th, has been cancelled.
But hey – at least you guys gave us some advance notice of the cancellation this time, instead of leaving a bunch of confused residents standing around on the school lawn in the middle of winter. That’s progress, right?

In all fairness, I guess it’s hard to have a public meeting about the “Superintendent’s Report”, when Superintendent Feldman apparently decided to take a 3-week trip to Japan….during the school year…..9 weeks before the summer break. Must have been a really important trip.
Don’t sweat it, Superintendent Feldman. If you worked for me, and you suddenly backpedaled when directly questioned about a one million dollar grant that appears to have vanished inexplicably, I’d probably put you on a flight out of the country for a few weeks too.
Next Board of Ed meeting is currently scheduled for Wednesday, May 7th.
We’ll be there with plenty-o-questions.
