Bombs Away! Marie Burke Censured By The Town Council

At tonight’s Belleville Municipal Council Meeting, a resolution to censure Councilwoman Marie Strumolo Burke was passed. Boom!

Despite Council members Notari and Cozzarelli not showing up for tonight’s meeting, the resolution still passed 3 to 1.

It is important to note that Mrs. Burke has, once again, loudly proclaimed that she is not the person in the background of the infamous audiotape. Not only does she continue to adamantly deny it, she has also “put the Council on notice” that she is not the voice on that recording.

Meanwhile, Burke’s voice on the recording is in the process of being authenticated by at least one expert voice lab, maybe more. The results should be available any day now.
